Responsible Tech

This page is under construction. It describes volunteer work and outreach I’ve done to promote responsible tech, in addition to my work in industry.

AI Blindspot

AI Blindspot is a discovery process to help organizations combat biases and build better AI systems. I co-founded AI Blindspot in 2019 as a Fellow during the Assembly program organized by the Berkman Klein Center and MIT Media Lab. Originated as a deck of playing cards, the project was designed to make AI more accessible and guide interactive workshops to discuss biases in AI systems.

In 2021, I was invited to return for another fellowship at the Berkman Klein Center. We partnered with design justice and civil society organizations to expanded AI Blindspot

Mentoring

In 2022, I was a mentor in the inaugural cohort of the All Tech Is Human mentorship program. All Tech Is Human is a non-profit striving “to grow the Responsible Tech field by promoting knowledge-sharing and collaboration among multiple stakeholders in order to co-create a better tech future.”

I was also featured in their Responsible Tech Guide. The guide showcases career journeys and offers advice for individuals to get involved in Responsible AI, Trust & Safety, and other responsible tech fields.
